Dr. Susan Bernstein coaches high-potential professionals to achieve breakthroughs in their performance while feeling balanced and vibrant. Susan’s clients appreciate her pioneering “work from within” approach, which elicits their innate excellence through mindful integration of both mind and body intelligence.

Susan launched Work from Within in 2005, and works with current and emerging leaders on issues including:

Susan blends strategic sense with psychological insights gleaned over nearly three decades in executive development, marketing, and management consulting roles at companies including Franklin-Covey, Intel, and Accenture. For Intel, she worked with the sales force to implement technologies for optimizing the sales cycle. At Accenture, Susan advised healthcare clients such as Kaiser Permanente and UnitedHealth on strategic growth and innovation. Later, she managed development of the firm’s worldwide strategy consultants, including creation of an MBA-equivalency program. Susan’s passion for professional development lead her to become Director of Marketing for Pensare, a technology startup, where she and her team created and promoted online executive education courses.

Education

Susan earned an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, and an MA in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Somatic Psychology, both from the Chicago School for Professional Psychology (formerly the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute).
