All too often, people get locked into ways of working, like being an employee. However, it’s not always necessary to work for someone else. And even if you work for yourself, you have many ways to earn your livelihood. Working on an hourly basis is one way. Yet that puts a ceiling on your income.

So, to expand your earning potential, what about creating products? Or programs? Products might be booklets or audio downloads or t-shirts to promote a cause. What about developing programs that allow you to reach out to many people at once, like teaching classes?

I like to think in a few big ways you can bring your hobbies, talents, and interests to others:

• Author – Create content of some sort
• Speaker – Broadcast your message
• Coach – Consult or advise people or organizations
• Marketer – Create a product and sell it in person or online
